Happy Halloween

I know, I still haven't posted the layouts from my Saturday crop, still working on those. I will get them loaded though, promise. Ok, here is a card that I made last night for some dear friends of ours. I got the idea from barbarahudak.blogspot.com , but I put my own spin on it by changing the inside up.

Wow, What a Month!!

I can't believe how fast this month has gone by. It has been crazy. I have been so busy working overtime at my job and trying to get my Stampin' Up! business kicked off that I just haven't had much time to create or post anything. I did finally get to create a bunch of layouts this past weekend when I attended the Northridge All Day Crop. That's right, all day from 8AM to 8PM, although I spent most of the morning visiting with friends and of course eating. So much fun, I can't hardly wait for the next one on Jan 30. So tomorrow I hope to get pics made of some of the layouts that I made. Well, until tomorrow night. Have fun crafting.

Open House Projects

Hello Stampers. Here are the project pictures I said I would post from my Open House. I also included a picture of the door prizes I had. The two frames I hand made using Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper which for newcomers to Stampin' Up! will be referred to in the supply list as DSP. Just click on the photo to enlarge.

This is Dasher and this little guy is probably my most favorite Christmas stamp right now and this paper is so pretty. I never would have thought of brown for Christmas but it just fits perfect I think.

Supplies:
Stamp Sets: Dasher #116816, $8.95 & Snow Swirled #111690, $24.95
Die Cut: Top Note #113463, $21.95
Ribbon: 3/4" Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon #115608, $8.95
DSP: Christmas Cocoa Specialty #116770, $11.95
Cardstock: Real Red, Whisper White, and Soft Suede
Ink: Real Red, Soft Suede

I love this card, I saw something like it on-line, but when I went back to look again at it and to find out who originally made it, I could not find it anywhere. This is a matchbook card with a small package of M&M's inside. The gals at my Open House could use any of the Cast-A-Spell paper and for the scallop and Ribbon, they had a choice of Perfect Plum, Old Olive, or Pumpkin Pie.

Supplies:
Stamp Sets: Batty for You #116576, $23.95
Punches: 1-3/8" Circle Punch #104401, $15.95 & Scallop Circle #109043, $15.95
Ribbon: Old Olive
DSP: Cast-A-Spell #115677, $9.95
Cardstock: Basic Black, Perfect Plum, Whisper White
Ink: Perfect Plum

Thanks for stopping by and if you would like to order any of the supplies shown here, please visit my Stampin' Up! website at http://jackiecruz.stampinup.net and click on "Shop Now" located in the top right corner.

My 1st Open House/Workshop

Oh my goodness, I just had so much fun sharing my love for stamping and scrapping with some really fun ladies and my closest friends. We made a couple of cards and I'll post those a little bit later, more like tomorrow cause I'm wiped. I'm getting ready to go make some dinner, but I just wanted to post real fast since it has been awhile.

To all the ladies who came to my open house, a special thanks to you all for coming, I appreciate that you gave up your weekend time to visit with me, hope to see you all again very soon.
