I can't believe it's November

Hello friends,

Finally I have found time to update and even surf the internet a little bit today. Here are some projects that I have made lately. The last one is a layout from the Oct All Day Crop I attended.

ALL PRODUCTS ARE STAMPIN' UP!

The card above I made for a friends birthday. I like it so much I'm going to have to make a few more.
Supplies:
Sahara Sand Cardstock for base.
Chocolate Chip
Baja Breeze (Retired)
Parisian Breeze DSP (Retired)
Stamp Set is And Many Mower
Used Stampin Write markers to color and also a blender pen for the Baja Breeze since there are no markers for last year In Colors.
I sponged the edges in Chocolate Chip for depth.
* I did get this idea off of Split Coast Stampers but cannot remember the name of the creator, I have to do better at writing the names down.

I absolutely love the Autumn Splendor stamp set in the Holiday Mini catalog. I used Taken with Teal for the base and sponged it the edges with Chocolate Chip. Then on Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped the images in Really Rust, More Mustard, and Chocolate Chip. I used the Designer Label punch and the Modern Label punch with the Grateful Greetings stamp set. Used the Horizontal Slot punch at the top and a piece of Chocolate Chip Taffeta ribbon. LOVE IT and so easy to make.

I finally bought the Aqua Painters and could not resist trying water colors. I used the Autumn Harvest Stamp Set with Black Staz On and then colored in the images with the Aqua Painter using Pumpkin Pie, More Mustard, Chocolate Chip, Really Rust and Garden Green inks. For the greeting, I used Teeny Tiny Wishes. The base is Chocolate Chip and the 1st layer is Really Rust. The images were stamped on the Water Color paper.

I made this card for DH's birthday in October. He loves to golf. The stamp set is And Many Mower. The base is Night of Navy and the layers are Basic Gray and Prestwick DSP (Retired). I used a blender pen to color in the image using the same color family of inks. Used a Night of Navy brad for the flag.

This was a page I did at the All Day Crop. I used the new Cottage Wall DSP for the background. Cardstock is Rich Razzleberry and Orchid Opulence. I used the stamp set The More the Merrier for the journaling block. Used the Scallop Edge border punch and the 5 Petal Flower Punch with matching Old Olive eyelets lifted up with dimensionals. These were the only pictures I had of DD with her broken arm. She was such a trooper with that thing. She was only 18 months old. I might go back and add some buttons to the journaling section, it just feels like the layout is still missing something.
I'll post some more this week.

Happy Halloween

I know, I still haven't posted the layouts from my Saturday crop, still working on those. I will get them loaded though, promise. Ok, here is a card that I made last night for some dear friends of ours. I got the idea from barbarahudak.blogspot.com , but I put my own spin on it by changing the inside up.

Wow, What a Month!!

I can't believe how fast this month has gone by. It has been crazy. I have been so busy working overtime at my job and trying to get my Stampin' Up! business kicked off that I just haven't had much time to create or post anything. I did finally get to create a bunch of layouts this past weekend when I attended the Northridge All Day Crop. That's right, all day from 8AM to 8PM, although I spent most of the morning visiting with friends and of course eating. So much fun, I can't hardly wait for the next one on Jan 30. So tomorrow I hope to get pics made of some of the layouts that I made. Well, until tomorrow night. Have fun crafting.

Hello Stampers. Here are the project pictures I said I would post from my Open House. I also included a picture of the door prizes I had. The two frames I hand made using Stampin' Up! My 1st Open House/Workshop

Oh my goodness, I just had so much fun sharing my love for stamping and scrapping with some really fun ladies and my closest friends. We made a couple of cards and I'll post those a little bit later, more like tomorrow cause I'm wiped. I'm getting ready to go make some dinner, but I just wanted to post real fast since it has been awhile.

To all the ladies who came to my open house, a special thanks to you all for coming, I appreciate that you gave up your weekend time to visit with me, hope to see you all again very soon.

I'm creating some cards to show at my upcoming Open House for Stampin' Up! and I'm just so excited to show this card I made tonight. I took some inspiration from Marie over at http://stampinginspiration.blogspot.com/. For my Open House next Saturday my guests will be making a matchbook card to hold M&M's, but I also wanted to do something different to show so after searching hours on Split Coast I gave up and decided to use what I saw from Marie's blog and add my own spin on it, I tried to use her measurements a little bit but our card sizes are just slightly different, but not by much. It's a coffin matchbook to hold a piece of the Jolly Rancher hard candies. I have not seen this on any of the blogs or on Splitcoast so if anyone out there has already done this, just let me know. Hopefully I actually came up with something new and will inspire others.

Supplies
Cardstock: Basic Black, Old Olive
Ink: Old Olive, Craft Whisper White, Basic Black
Ribbon: Pumpkin Pie
Details: Sponged Whisper White around his hair just to make Frank stand out a little bit more. Sponged Old Olive around the rest of his face. Used Basic Black Stampin' Write marker to draw his face. Matchbook is 3x81/2, scored at 1 inch and 5 inch.
.
I just ordered Batty for You, it should arrive on Tuesday, I can't wait to use those stamps on the M&M cards.

Wedding Card

Hello. My DH asked me to make a card for one of his co-workers that is getting married. This will be a card for the entire team to sign so the challenge for me was making it larger than the normal A2 size. This card is 5.5x8.5. This card took me quite a while to make. I just couldn't decide on a design. After about an hour of searching Split Coast Stampers for ideas I ended up taking inspiration from several other cards, ultimately casing this card at http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1450895?&cat=15700

Supplies - All Stampin' Up
Cardstock: Base is Whisper White, Rockabilly DSP, Layer is Going Grey all from Stampin Up. I did use some non Stampin Up paper for the ring , it is just some shiny cardstock.
Ribbon: White Organza
Stamp Set: Congrats from the 2009 Sale-A-Bration catalog
Ink: Black Staz On
*Ring was made from the Mickey Mouse and Friends Cricut Cartridge, added some Crystal Glitter (not Stampin' Up) onto the ring for some dazzle. I plan to order Dazzling Diamonds from Stampin' Up to use on future creations.
Hello Scrappers,

Hope you like the new background, I'm getting into the Halloween spirit this week. Also, I'll have some projects to post later today so check back.

Cherries Delight

Hello Scrappers. Today I want to share with you two cards. One I made for my monthly stamp club swap tonight and the other one my DD made while I was making mine. I had to cut out the right size of paper for her, but she put it together and stamped the image herself. The entire time telling me, "Mommy, you have to put mine on your site too". She loves to join me in the craft room so how could I possibly say no. She did a great job. She also made a popsicle card and I'll post that one later on too.

Here is DD's card (She is 6). She used the paper stack from DCWV "Sweet", Ribbon is from Michaels, Solid Card Stock is Stampin' Up. Stamp Set is Stampin' Up "Tart & Tangy" & "Best Yet" for the sentiment, Ink is Stampin' Up Real Red & Certainly Celery.

Here is my card for club swap.

They both love Human Bean coffee so I gave them gift cards inside the cards. I made the same card for each of them. Birthday Card

This is a card that I made at Stamp Club with my Stampin' Up Demonstrator, it was a Christmas Card, but I absolutely loved the paper and wanted to use it for a birthday card so I made a few minor changes to the little card in the envelope by replacing the "Merry Christmas" with a scalloped "Cheers To You" stamp and there you go.

Denver Zoo July 2008

Here is a scrapbook layout that I just finally completed earlier in the week. It is from July 2008, I have 2007 & 2009 Zoo trips yet to do. I'm not too good at taking pictures of my layouts yet, but I'll get better so apologies if they appear blurry.

Stickers: Embossible Designs by Joanne Wesley

Pickup Card

My Dearest Friend asked me to make a card that she could send to her brother-in-law who was recently in an accident. I cased this from the Stampin Up Spring/Summer 2009 Catalog but put my own spin on it with a few changes. I used a watercolor technique by using a blender pen and the Stampin' Write Markers for the Ink.
